Rant
They just put up a sign at work that soda is going up on Friday the 23rd. Everything is going up expect my pay. I have not had a raise in over THREE YEARS. LET ME SAY THAT AGAIN. IT HAS BEEN OVER THREE YEARS since I have had a raise. Here are a few more things that have gone up over the past few years. Move tickets, soda at Sonic, ink for my printer, paper for my printer and prices at Du Kum Inn (restaurant) The list goes on feel free to add to it. I did buy a half a case of soda at Wal*Mart and I put it in my locker at work. I then put two or three in the refrigerator at work everyday. The cost is $.26416666664 so about $.26 cents a can. Some of the soda money does go to the employee association fund and this is good but I am done it is the straw that broke the camels back. I should have been doing this since I started 15 years ago and would have saved much money. They tell me I will be getting a raise in March.
