Lowe's is coming to Sullivan sometime soon. I don't know when but they have bought 13-20 acres of ground just outside of Sullivan in Oak Grove. This would be behind Burger King. They have a few problems that they have to solve such as water for their sprinkler system in their building. Oak Grove does not have a big enough main or stand pipe (tank) to supply it. Sullivan may run a 8-10" main for them (for a price). Police protection will be another concern as Oak Grove has no police department. Sullivan is just a few feet away but will not provide police protection. Some of the people in town will not like prividing water to Lowe's because Sullivan will not get any of the tax money. This will be interesting to see how this plays out.
